"Indie Idols" is a term we coined to refer to the type of performers we are, heavily based on JPOP and KPOP idols. "Idols" are performers who sing and perform choreographed dances to their music. What separates idols from different types of performers is their unique inclusion of fans in their performances, and their bonds with their supporters. The concept of idols was born in Japan, and later emerged in South Korea. The genre includes both soloists and idol groups. "Indie Idols" refers to this same genre of performers, but performers who are self produced. "Indie" as a term that is short for "independent", meaning Indie Idols are idols that are not backed by a company or record label, and instead make all of their own content themselves and using their own means. RESO! is our group's name. We previously went by Resoluscia. We call our fans the "Reso-Nation". The name "RESO!" is a name created by Mimi, the founder of the group. The name is based on words and names that fit our group theme: Resolve- to show we possess the quality of being determined and resolute in our pursuits. Resonate- to showcase our connection with our community and audience as a whole. Overall, our name reflects who we are, and what we and our characters represent, as well as what we wish to convey to our audience. A message of never giving up and pushing past problems to see an amazing end is what RESO! is about.

RESO!'s small team does all of the creative and professional work needed to produce our content. Creating original music and performances requires a lot of time, talent, and skill.
